Videoconference 26/05: Occupational intelligence: monitoring labour market data for decision making

In the framework of the ILO/Cinterfor videoconference cycle held on Thursday 26 May, the experience developed by SENAI of Brazil on the "occupational intelligence" process, the monitoring of data for decision-making, was presented.

The experience was presented by Anaely Machado, responsible for labour market studies at the National Industry Observatory of SENAI and Maria Conceição Lima Afonso, responsible for knowledge management at the National Industry Observatory of SENAI, who shared the conceptual and theoretical pillars of the process as well as the preliminary results of the monitoring done for the logistics sector in Brazil and its usefulness for short and long term decision making. Marcello Pío, SENAI's Industrial Development Specialist, was also present to complement the presentation.

This activity, which was attended by more than 100 people, was facilitated by Fernando Vargas Zúñiga and was organised in the framework of the course that ILO/Cinterfor is developing: Big data and skills gaps.
