Videoconference: experiences of welfare management in participants from two vocational training institutions. 9 September 2024
In the framework of the ILO/Cinterfor - SENA 2024 agreement, a virtual event was held on 9 September 2024 to present two successful experiences in the implementation of well-being policies for participants in vocational training programmes. These initiatives aim to strengthen socio-emotional skills and reduce dropout in educational programmes.
During the event, the following experiences were presented:
-
SENAC Brazil: The ‘Programa Nacional de Gestión de Permanencia’ addresses the challenge of dropout through a comprehensive approach that includes pedagogical monitoring and accompaniment, improvement of the educational climate and career guidance. The programme uses artificial intelligence tools to provide personalised accompaniment, along with remedial actions in language and mathematics. In addition, the ‘Multitud Edu’ programme was shared, which promotes inclusion and diversity in the educational environment, transforming lives through professional and technological training.
-
SNA Educa of Chile: The programme ‘My reflective logbook’ was presented, focusing on socio-emotional wellbeing, planning life projects and promoting an active and healthy life. This programme promotes personal reflection, self-knowledge and the development of healthy habits, especially in rural areas.
The session was simultaneously interpreted in Spanish and Portuguese, ensuring an enriching exchange of experiences and good practices among the participating countries.
