The importance of dual training is increasingly recognised as an effective strategy to improve the quality of technical-professional education, promote the employability of young people and strengthen the connection between education and the world of work.

In this sense, the Organisation of Ibero-American States in Uruguay, the Civil Association ÁNIMA and the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training are organising the first edition of the event: "Dual Training Network in Uruguay - from experiences towards a systemic alliance". The activity to be held on 24 May in Montevideo, Uruguay, is supported by ILO/Cinterfor.

The event will have the special presence of the Bertelsmann Foundation represented by Guillem Salvans and Ignacio de Benito who will share their experiences in Spain in terms of dual training where they were protagonists of legislative advances and organisational innovations in different industries.
different industries.

It will be an invitation-only event where it is expected to have representatives from all sectors that are part of the world of education and work: teachers, young people, companies and government to experience a meeting of dialogue.
