Study to identify good business practice in quality learning management
Quality apprenticeships and dual training are currently the subject of renewed studies and debates, in particular the European apprenticeship experience as a modality of training and labour market insertion for young people.
Existing research and publications in Latin America are generally focused on either VET institutions (VET) or regulatory frameworks and their different dimensions, but the voice of enterprises has tended to be absent.
Based on the above, the Eurosocial+ programme, the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) and ILO/Cinterfor have joined forces to develop the "Study on Quality Apprenticeships: Generating evidence and surveying good business practices" in five countries in the Latin American region: Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru.
This is a comparative research on the general theme of the participation and role of the entrepreneurial actor in quality learning programmes and experiences. Its objective has been to contribute to the generation of knowledge on the experiences, perceptions, opinions and good practices of companies using this training modality, and to reflect on recommendations to achieve a better articulation between companies and training for employment, which strengthens quality learning.
