Objetivos: 

Addressing the training needs of the employees of the companies, through complementation, updating and specialization courses, in order to strengthen their knowledge, skills and abilities and improve levels of productivity.

The Program interacts with companies to better respond to their training needs.

Población objetivo: 

Workers from companies contributing financially to the training system, whether small, medium or large businesses. 
Companies seeking to supplement, update or specialize workers in their jobs.

 

 



Descripción: 

The program makes available to companies, technical courses designed by the Training Centers specialized in technical training.  These courses have been designed from diagnoses studies and have been offered free.

In this program, the demand for technical courses is directly linked to the existing supply, reducing INSAFORP intervention.

The offer is open and ongoing and training is imparted at fixed centers.

Factores clave: 
  • Simplify internal processes of hiring INSAFORP providers, since there is a more direct link between demand and supply of technical training.
  • Flexibility as to the minimum number of participants per company, it can only train the amount deemed necessary.




Evaluación: 

In 2008-2009 the assessment carried out reached the main benefits obtained by companies were:

• Increased quality 78.40%
• Resource saving 45.50%
• Savings in raw materials 19.30%
• Decreased time in delivery of goods and services 28.40%
• Sales Increase 20.50%
• Profits increase 19.30%
• Decreased production time 27.30%


97.80% of workers have obtained benefits from training, their ability to perform the functions assigned has increased by 98.10% and 89.50% of them apply the knowledge gained in their work.

According to the companies the major impacts derived from training their workers are 48.90% salary increases and promotions 50% (by specialized workers or performance).

Also, these companies ensure that skills acquired by workers in training courses, meet the needs of job performance in enterprises and highly appreciate the content and methodologies used in the training course.

Financiamiento: 
INSAFORP finances 100% of the courses offered by the program.
