Objetivos: 

It promotes the employability of young people in their places of residence, along with the possibility of further study. It aims to reduce migration.

Young people, from vulnerable sectors, who are studying.

Descripción: 

The training and continuing education area of INACAP offers FORCOM programmes, which are developed within educational establishments, in the framework of the full school day.

During four hours a week courses for assistant are taught in gastronomy, accounting and commerce, computer administration, computers fabrication, web editor and electronic commerce, among others. Since 2008, modules on entrepreneurship which develop skills to promote economic initiatives have been included.


Each course has an annual duration of 150 hours and its extension can range from two to four years. The training process is based on periodic evaluations, whose mission is to measure theoretical, practical skills as well as attitudes of students.

INACAP provides students a certificate of approval, detailing modules taken and skills acquired.


These programmes are requested and funded by companies as part of their policy of social responsibility (RSE), by local authorities and public and private schools.

Evaluación: 

In 2007, 40% of the participants was working and studying.

Schools recognize that FORCOM programmes had yielded a new element to retain students in the school system, lower academic dropouts, raise performance in the subjects of the formal curriculum of the student, and add value to the school and the community.
Young people experience changes being neat with greater responsibility, and with better attitude towards the future.

 

Resultados: 

In 2006 five of the 15 regions of the country were covered, and in 2010 reached 11 regions.
