As the ILO celebrates International Women's Day in 2024, under the theme "Investing in women: Accelerating progress", it highlights the essential and inseparable roles of decent work and gender equality.

As this year's International Women's Day coincides with the 350th Session of the Governing Body, the celebration will be joined by the Director-General, Governing Body participants and ILO colleagues. The event will begin with songs by the ILO choir, followed by contributions from the Director-General and representatives of three constituents.
