Esta publicación está dirigida a facilitadores de formación técnica recupera la experiencia de instituciones asociadas al programa y brinda un marco referencial para la incorporación del eje transversal de género en el diseño, desarrollo y evaluación de ofertas de formación técnica y capacitación laboral.

Incorpora referentes conceptuales y herramientas metodológicas para la formación de docentes y constituye una propuesta clave para la formación de formadores que es apoyada desde el proCAP.

In this document, an attempt is being made at a first approach to these questions; gathered together are the experiences of vocational training agencies, accumulated over these many years, as well as the contributions of Ministries of Labour in the definition of public policies and strategies with respect to training; an attempt has also been made to incorporate the developments in the field of education and labour which the Ministries of Education and the agencies responsible for scientific and technological research in countries in the region have implemented.

 

The new local development approaches have opened up great opportunities for improvement in training and youth employment policies, which have been the subject of searching debates over the last few decades. When we consider young people not so much as a statistical category, or as a group with certain disadvantages that make it more difficult for them to find employment, but more as active participants in their own development and that of the community, we will be closer to the target of having integral strategies for training and for promoting decent work.
